If you want to find a hobby and have a good time, you probably would like the idea of RC cars.  There are variations of these kinds of cars.  They come in scaled models and some are bit little bigger such as the monster truck RC car. There are two types of the petrol RC cars which are either nitro fuel or electric powered.

Petrol RC cars are considered the better version because they have more speed and power over any electric car. Even if for people who don’t know much about the hobby, it is best to drive a petrol fueled car due to its sheer power and higher speed. If anybody would want to recommend you for a RC car, the petrol version will be unanimously preferred.

These mini petrol remote controlled cars need time to spool but they can easily reach maximum power. The only downside is that they have a slower throttle response compared to electric powered RC cars. The driving time of these petrol cars is usually 20 minutes. Upon fuel depletion, they can be juiced up again and cranked up for another go. As compared to an electric powered RC car, it may need hours to recharge the battery unless they have another spare kit lying around. When using a petrol type of car, you can have more fun for longer periods of time.

As mentioned, there are also monster truck versions, which have raw power that can give you the best time when driving. There are also sub-categories of these cars namely toy or hobby grade. If you have the budget, even starters can buy the hobby grade because they are built for longer usage.

If you want to start with the hobby, consider having to secure the safety of others first and then your beloved car. They can always get a nasty drop, get wet or even crushed by any foreign object. The best place to play them is on open fields and controlled environments to further secure all parties while driving.

petrol RC Cars have lots of customizations. You can simply add stickers of your choice to add spice to your baby.  As for most of the hobby grade model cars, they have a complete range of parts that can be swapped, serviced and customized. With these types of cars, you can have them air-cooled and instantly refueled. They are instantaneous torque models that will surely entertain you every time you hit the road.

The hobby of driving petrol radio controlled cars has been around for so long due their sheer enjoyment, speed of cruising around with a minimized version of their real life counterparts, and the passion that is synonymous to the love of cars.

These petrol powered machines offer better performance in all aspects. As compared to an electric powered version, they are far more durable and faster. The fuel can be swapped in under a minute and can cruise around more.

Radio control is a great technology for these models. The models can typically move like real cars and can do maneuvers with the same manner. With receivers, they catch a low level frequency and higher graded models offer better response in terms of radio control.

Each part can be upgraded almost like a real car.  The parts can be swapped to further increase its performance. Often, the only restriction is the small fuel compartment, which can also be alleviated with just a simple refuel as compared to electric types.  Also, they need to be recharged or swapped with fresh batteries to get back to the fun.

With their art and form, there are clubs around the world that complete and constantly upgrade their mini rides to perfection. With many hobbyists also in on the art of RC driving, you can surely bump into one along your playtime over wide flat terrains.  Even with being manufactured on affordable high-performance electronics, they are still tough against wear and tear. The sound of its operation can be the main selling points of petrol RC Cars.

They can be easily cleaned with blowers. Often, their exhaust can contain unburned oil, which can easily be wiped with a cloth. As far as maintenance goes, they also require proper tuning and cleanup from time to time to maintain proper operation.

The only downside to petrol models it that they can take time for the engine to spool as compared to the instantaneous torque the electric model provides. But in terms of speed, they are long gone before any electric car would catch up, making it better for people who are up for the speed.

These petrol radio controlled cars are often less pricey than the gas powered counterparts. If you are a starter, you can consider them as your first purchase. They can be easily maintained and can also offer wide customization as much as their gas powered counterparts.

Hi i would like to buy a radio controlled car that is quite fast - maybe petrol powered and i can “Do up” and add parts to. around £40 - £70, however i do not know any places to buy it from, could you tell me any websites or shops thanks
just look for R/C cars in the search, if you want to tweak it up, DO NOT get one from a big box store, use hobby shops

I am looking at purchasing a rc buggy. Unleaded engines would be perfect for me, not nitro. Any ideas for what a really good petrol buggy would be Im not bothered with the size
Go to www.hpiracing.com or davesmotors.com and look at the HPI 5B Baja Buggy. It has a chain saw type engine and runs on regular unleaded gas and is fairly quiet. I have one and it is a very good quality and a really fun machine. It is BIG !! In europe, FG makes gas buggies also. Nitro is cool, but the fuel is a little expensive and messy and you need a glow starter and have to chase the tuning a lot more than gas. The HPI Baja Buggy is the best and you will love it, Dave’s motors has lots of cool upgrade parts and I put the L.E.D. headlight and taillights on mine and run at night also. Just never hit your foot or ankle with this thing cause you might break it. This is a great hobby, and best of luck and fun to you !!
